49 Old Street
London EC1V 9HX

and

125–127 Mare St
London E8 3RH

Loveable because of the name
(come on, admit it!)

You can have your bike fixed at 'Look mum no hands!' while having a coffee, a smoothie or a beer. They serve food too: daily specials (which means fresh!) and salads. Now and then they organise some events as well. Recently they opened a new location on Mare Street. The original location on Old Street -where they have a garden- has been there since 2010, so they were one of the first to bring this concept.

Bar Music Hall

134 Curtain Road
London EC2A 3AR

Loveable because they have Belgian beer.

They also serve breakfast, burgers and as they say it 'slurps and nibbles' (being soup and sandwiches). Later at night the music gets louder and you'll get good coctails. Fun detail: the menus are made of old record covers.

Cargo

83 Rivington Street
London EC2A 3AY

Loveable beacause of the cool location (underneath the railway).

Hidden away in Shoreditch there is Cargo: a nice place to have drinks with friends and party until 3AM (yes, lights go on at 3AM on Fridays and Saturdays). There are different rooms and different bars. During summer they have a cosy terrace. Try to go early to avoid entrance fees.

The Bridge

15 Kingsland Road
London E2 8AA

Loveable because it's crowded with kitsch and draped in velvet.

This is an amazing place, squeezed beside the railway bridge. It's small and cosy but you'll never get bored because there's so much to look at.

223 Grove Road
London E3 5SN

Loveable because this is actually a beautiful pub.

Pubs are most of the time a bit dark and old fashioned, well this one isn't. The furniture is nice and light, it's cosy and it's just on the corner of Victoria Park. They also serve food (which I didn't try).

Shoreditch Grind

213 Old Street
London EC1V 9NR

θ Old Street, exit 8

Loveable because it's a coffee bar that turns into a cocktail bar at night!

(More info below with coffee bars go to Shoreditch Grind)

51 Margaret Street
London W1W 8SG

θ Oxford Circus

Loveable because it's a quiet place just behind the crazy Oxford St.

There's always an exhibition going on by local artists, which makes your coffee even better. It's a relaxing place, full of light and good coffee.

The Attendant

74 Great Eastern Street
London EC2A
θ Old Street

Loveable because they have the best almond croissants ever, the interior is amazing and the coffee is great.

Just across The Hoxton Hotel Shoreditch is the perfect place to have breakfast or have a delicous coffee. Take seat at the window and watch the world go by.

Also check out the sisters:

> Soho Grind
> London Grind
> Holborn Grind
> Clerkenwell Grind
> Exmouth Market
> Whitechapel Grind
> Royal Exchange Grind

Loveable because... it's an amazing place, trust me.

They have breakfast, lunch, evening menu's and of course great coffee. But they're also a fully licensed bar; so they're open late serving premium beer, fabulous wines and cocktails (Clover Club is my favourite cocktail!). Shoreditch Grind is also a concept designed to bring music and coffee together, there even is a recording studio upstairs which is available to hire. The bar's architecture is already a reason to go there -just saying-.
Shoreditch Grind was the first Grind and opened in 2011.

31 Norfolk Pl
London W2 1QH

θ Paddington

Loveable because it's a coffee bar in a magazine store.

But not just any magazine store. They have over 150 (global) titles covering everything from popular weeklies to specialist independent publications. It's a small place but very enjoyable to read the newspaper or a magazine.
